What is CricTwits?
It's an aggregator of Twitter conversations revolving around cricket matches. |

How twits are related to cricket matches?
We look for certain keyterms for each matches. Keyterms may include the tournament name, team names, key player names, venue or combinations of these. |

Is using hashtags mandatory to be listed in CricTwits?
No. Use any keyterms related to an ongoing/forthcoming cricket match and we will pocket your tweets within a minute. However, you are encouraged to use hash tags if your tweet is about supporting a particular team. You can see your team's hash tag on the match page |

Is it real time?
Well, not as real time as Twitter, but close to it. It takes a minute or two for the tweets to appear in the streams |

Can I tweet from within CricTwits?
Yes. We use Twitter's OAUTH service to post your tweet to your twitter account. Thanks to OAUTH, you needn't share your credentials with us in this process. You'll just give us a temporary access to your account. While posting tweets from a match's page, you must select a team you are supporting. |
